Specifically developed for road racing, track use, and performance street riding, the FIM-approved Tech-Air® 7x system is Alpinestars’ latest airbag system, built on MotoGP-proven technology. Fully self-contained, it protects the shoulders, chest, back, and coccyx, and is aerodynamically engineered and ventilated. Designed to be used alone or integrated with Tech-Air®-compatible suits and jackets, the Tech-Air® 7x is suitable for closed-course racing, road riding, and light off-road riding. With 12 integrated sensors and an AI-based crash detection system, the system deploys the airbag in just 44 ms, reducing impact forces by up to 90% compared to CE Level 1 passive back protectors.
