• The lower TPU shell features an innovative design in the gear shift area for reduced forward roll and easy control of the gear lever, with dedicated left and right foot placement. This area is further reinforced with a metal shank and reinforced toe area for maximum impact and abrasion resistance.
• Featuring a medial and lateral double pivot system to improve levels of flexibility and precision control.
• Dedicated design on the medial sidewall to improve feel, support and grip on the bike, while increasing the protection and durability of the boot.
• The new contoured TPU calf protector plate provides effective impact resistance.
• The main flex of the boot is supported around the medial and lateral ankle by a low-profile pivot system for increased freedom of movement and rider comfort.
• The front flex zone features new innovative shock absorbing inserts in the front bellows area for progressive support.
• The shock absorbing insert is also strategically placed on the ankles and shin guard for added shock absorption.
• The new belt holder design provides maximum rotation and functionality while reducing over-rotation.
• The sole features an innovative wear limit indicator embedded in the toe area. This layer displays a red layer that alerts the rider when the sole is worn and needs to be replaced.
• The boot construction under the wear limit indicator is surrounded by a Kevlar® layer that maintains the construction and integrity of the boot, protecting it.
• The closure system includes polymer buckles and an aluminum construction with self-aligning quick-release closures for a secure, customized fit.
• The buckle receiver is designed to be self-aligning, ensuring a secure fit and preventing the strap from rotating.
• The soft microfibre gaiter features a dedicated design, specifically designed for the rear of the boot, which effectively seals out excessive water and dirt entry.
• The extended medial panel is constructed from TPU and its new design incorporates an enlarged rubber insert for maximum contact with the bike and improved heat and abrasion resistance.
• The pull tab is designed to provide greater grip.
• Updated, compact TPU shin guard construction for a greater range of fit, featuring a reinforced hook-and-loop closure for a comfortable, highly customized fit.
• The upper features extensive TPU protection on the toe, foot, heel, ankle, calf and shin with extra hard compounds on the toe and heel for additional impact and abrasion resistance.
• Suede upper with a lightweight microfiber construction for added impact and abrasion resistance.
• Additional TPU rear bridge for Achilles tendon protection.
• Featuring a poly-fabric lining with 3D open-cell foam and anti-slip suede reinforcement on the heel area for added abrasion resistance.
• The one-piece outsole is made of highly durable, dual-compound vulcanized rubber for added durability and protection. The outsole is replaceable.
• Tech 7 boots are CE certified to EN 13634:2017.
