Alpinestars TECH 10 further improves its ergonomics, thanks to the introduction of patented technical solutions such as the Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP) and the new motion control system with a double pivot that allows unsurpassed mobility. • Upper made with innovative, very light microfibre, with shock- and abrasion-resistant TPU protection.
• New motion control system with a double pivot in the lateral and medial area that offers excellent levels of flexibility and steering precision.
• Frontal flexion control through a double front plate and an insert that progressively absorbs and cushions the energy generated by the potential impact.
• Rear torsion bars with new dual density TPU design to prevent rear hyperextension while ensuring excellent levels of flexibility and impact resistance.
• Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP): This is an innovative safety system patented by Alpinestars, which includes a fully integrated flex zone in the heel area made from expanded polyester foam to absorb high impact energy during an accident.
• It features a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the energy transfer to the ankle and lower leg. The DHCP system was developed and tested on professional Supercross and Motocross circuits.
• Front protection with a double closure system: it consists of microfiber interior with Velcro® secured with micrometric buckles (very easy to use). The shin guard features a TPU sheet designed to prevent anterior hyperextension and offers greater flexion control.
• Rubber-reinforced TPU side panel designed to provide excellent grip, durability and heat protection. The new panels have an anatomical shape and are lighter and thinner.
• Contoured calf protector that wraps around the back of the leg. Made of dual-density composite material, it is designed to provide progressive shock absorption of torsional forces. Shin protector is anatomically designed to reduce surface area and save weight.
• The footbed (5 different densities) is made from a single, lightweight piece that offers excellent strength, flexibility, and structural integrity. It features heel and toe protection and is highly resistant to abrasion and impact. An integrated midsole provides improved support and structural integrity.
• Completely redesigned sole with patented patterns to improve traction and grip, and facilitate water and mud drainage. The dual-compound sole is seamlessly integrated with the multi-density base structure of the foot, with integrated support. The sole offers exceptional durability, grip, and feel. The midsole features a microgrip insert for excellent grip. It allows for complete sole replacement.
• Redesigned and anatomically optimized buckle closure system. The new mechanical buckle closure system is made from a nylon and fiberglass composite that ensures lightness, strength, and durability. The new buckle closure system includes cold-forged, high-impact locking bridges for excellent precision and strength. The buckles feature a self-aligning ratchet with memory. This system is quick, easy, and precise for opening and closing, offering excellent performance and riding safety. All buckles are easily replaceable.
• The upper area of the boot is finished with a soft microfibre cloth to prevent the entry of excess water and/or dirt.
• The inner lining is made of open-cell poly-fabric, 3D foam; it features non-slip suede in the heel area to keep the foot properly positioned inside the boot.
• These boots are CE certified.
• Inner boot with redesigned biomechanics, lighter and lower profile. It features new medial and lateral torsion bars, anatomically redesigned to control ankle and leg rotation without sacrificing freedom of movement. New double-locking torsion bars allow the rider to make natural ankle movements with progressive cushioning of torsional forces during an impact.
• Reinforced TPU protection and cushioning in the heel and ankle for improved shock absorption, and an ultra-thin, flexible toe cap for increased sensitivity and control.
• Removable anatomical double-composite insole; includes EVA foam for greater comfort, greater support and even weight distribution.
