Every component of the SMX-6 v3 GORE-TEX Boot has been carefully designed with the performance of the rider in mind, including protection innovations, improved ergonomics and comfort features.

• An evolution of Alpinestars exclusive ankle protection system that provides bio-mechanical support and protection between the lateral upper calf, shin and ankle for superior ankle articulation, as well as providing impact protection to the Achilles tendon and ankle.
• Alpinestars Lace-Lock system is constructed from an advanced polymer resin to ensure a quick, precise and secure closure.
• The main upper material is made of microfiber to provide durability, high levels of abrasion resistance and flexibility.
• Ergonomic shape to streamline the forefoot and allow for greater control and improved precision on the bike’s controls.
• The new ergonomic elastic gaiter on the front offers a precise fit in any condition.

• Dual-density TPU ankle protectors are strategically positioned between the upper on the medial side and the padded lining to provide strategic protection in key areas.
• Replaceable dual-density TPU toe sliders with screw-on assembly provide full protective coverage around the outer toe area, while still being extremely flexible for walking comfort.
• The new TPU rear calf bridge is designed to reinforce the level of protection and support.
