Derived from a combination of MX and street motorcycling design. Alpinestars’ new Honda SMX Waterproof Jacket incorporates elements of MX design in the jacket’s materials, performance fit and graphics, along with performance features from street riding such as the DFS lite external shoulder and waterproof membrane that provide additional protection for all-weather riding. With a main chassis constructed from 600D poly-fabric and stretch softshell for the optimum combination of durability, lightweight and comfort, this jacket features subtly incorporated Nucleon Flex Plus armor for proven impact protection. The Honda SMX Jacket has a fixed waterproof membrane for proven wet weather performance and has a detachable thermal liner, allowing it to be easily adapted to weather conditions for real-world versatility.

• The Honda SMX WP Jacket is Tech-Air® ready and can accommodate either the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 airbag system for full torso protection.
• The jacket has a fixed 2-layer waterproof membrane for proven performance in bad weather.
• Body-mapped sports fit and pre-curved sleeves for optimum performance on the bike.
• The removable thermal liner (100g body/80g sleeves) allows you to configure the jacket to suit the climate.
• Nucleon Flex Plus armor on the shoulders and elbows (Nucleon Level 1 chest protectors and Nucleon Level 1 and 2 back protectors available as an optional accessory upgrade) offers optimum impact and abrasion resistance, while still being extremely flexible for maximum comfort.
• DFS Lite (Dynamic Friction Shield) shoulders for increased abrasion resistance.
• The back of the jacket is extended for added coverage while riding.
• Elastic drawstring waistband for secure closure.
• Two front zippered pockets, two chest pockets, one internal waterproof document pocket and two internal lining pockets to safely store valuables.
• The front zipper closure is designed to be durable and easy to use.
• Chassis constructed from a 3-layer stretch poly-softshell blend (315 grams/square meter with 15k breathability), for lightweight comfort, durability.
• DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the outer shell for added performance in bad weather.
• Low profile sports collar with soft lining for improved rider comfort.
