Designed for improved comfort both on and off the bike, the advanced CR-1 Shoes have been optimized for riding in hot conditions, and feature a microfiber construction, 3D mesh and breathable technical fabric to ensure airflow and superior ventilation, perfect for touring and sport riding.

  • The “DROP” of the sole (the distance between the heel and the toe) is 9 mm (many running shoes have a 9 mm drop) to ensure a smooth transition from heel to toe while walking.
  • The running shoe shape offers a “snug fit” and “large internal shoe volume” for excellent all-day foot comfort.
  • Compressed EVA midsole with heel stabilizers and a heel cushioning pad for added support and exceptional all-day comfort.
  • The OrthoLite® insole offers long-term cushioning and a high level of breathability and comfort.
  • The unique dual-density rubber outsole features high-grip lugs and a tapered pattern direction to ensure grip in all weather conditions, while maintaining footpeg sensitivity.
  • Forefoot flex grooves are inserted into the midsole to improve forefoot comfort (grooves promote flex in the forefoot area).
  • Integrated medial and external ankle discs for impact protection, with multi-layered padding for added coverage.
  • Alpinestars Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) protects the foot by providing the necessary support on the footpeg without compromising front foot flex for superior walking comfort.
