The Hyde XT Drystar®XF Jacket is designed for the heavy off-road and/or dual sport side of the adventure touring category. Featuring an extremely lightweight, four-way stretch main construction with a single layer waterproof outer shell, the Hyde XT Drystar®XF Jacket is reinforced with ripstop nylon on the outer arms and shoulders for high levels of durability. As the name suggests, the Hyde XT has a laminated Drystar®XF (XF for extra flow) waterproof and highly breathable membrane for excellent wet weather performance. The laminated Drystar®XF breathable and waterproof membrane is of paramount importance for riders who ride in wet weather as it makes the jacket super compact and keeps it very lightweight.The advantage of Drystar®XF is that it does not allow water to seep or penetrate into or through the shell, as the membrane prevents the jacket from becoming heavy and waterlogged and protects the rider from the elements and prevents wind chill, all while allowing the fabric to breathe. The Hyde XT is adaptable to the climate, with its long direct ventilation ports on each side at the front and back, zippered vents on the forearms and the Super-airflow panel on the front zippered opening providing plenty of ventilation and breathability when the weather gets hot. Internally, the Hyde XT has a zip-out, removable mesh armored inner jacket with CE-level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus armor.

Because the Hyde XT has a more intense focus and potential for off-road riding, the inner mesh jacket is designed to keep the armor close to the rider’s body for maximum comfort and protection, eliminating any movement restrictions related to the interaction between the outer shell and armor when powering up on an off-road bike. The inner mesh armor jacket is also fully upgradeable to Nucleon Flex Pro Level 2 armor and is Tech-Air® Ready to accommodate either Tech-Air® 5 or, in the future, the Tech-Air® OFF-ROAD System (when that product becomes available) for the ultimate in rider protection. Extremely versatile, the Hyde XT Drystar®XF also features a removable inner mesh armor jacket, allowing the Hyde XT to function as a casual off-the-bike garment, or even as the perfect daily commuter jacket.
